In this 3 hour workshop, you will create a jewel of your own design using the centuries old lost wax method. You will be guided to carve, shape and add texture to your design. After the end of the workshop, Nonsisa will cast and finish your piece ready for pick up.

- Professional finish by our studio. You will be able to collect your piece approximately 10 days after the workshop.

ΔΑΧΤΥΛΙΔΙ - ΣΚΛΗΡΟ ΚΕΡΙ
Starting from a wax tube you will firstly shape your number and then start to sculpture it to bring it to the desire shape. Before coming to the workshop decide for which finger you are going to create the ring for and try to browse the web for ideas, if you don’t have one already. You can take inspiration from nature, architecture, art in general, you name it! I will also guide you giving you some inspiration and suggestions to build your own. You can carve a geometrical shape or an abstract one, and you can even engrave/incise it by drawing or writing something. Also, with the appropriate tools you will be able to add textures. The hard wax gives you the opportunity for more sculptural designs so keep that in mind when you are searching for your idea. Soft wax gives you the opportunity to create more fluid, organic figures. You will learn how to build up your design using the tools and heat and how to combine various types of soft wax.Before coming to the workshop decide for which finger you are going to create the ring for and try to browse the web for ideas, if you don’t have one already.
