Linocut printmaking

Delve into the art of linocut printmaking, carving your personalized print in a linoleum block!

If you have a particular theme or image you would like to work from please bring it along. Your drawings, photographs or magazine cuttings are all good source materials.

There will be also images and art books from which you can draw inspiration, or trace a design.

The linoleum block size that will be used for printing is 10 cm x 15 cm, so make sure your design fits within that size.

 Materials: All necessary materials, including linoleum blocks, carving tools, printing ink, brayers, and paper, are supplied. At the end you can take your finished block home, along with your resulting prints.

Duration: 2 appointments of 2.30 hours each

- Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy and/or an apron.
